When there is a fault in any component or actuator of the engine, the engine fault light on the instrument panel comes on. This means that a fault has been detected and the computer has stored an error code. To read this code and know the fault, an OBD2 scanner is necessary as well as the deletion of the code after the repair.

The V317 automotive scanner meets the necessary characteristics to provide this service. It also has other functions that make it a very practical tool for locating engine faults.
